This classic story-line reintroduces The Absorbing Man back into Marvel continuity from his last appearance two years earlier in Incredible Hulk #125 (1970);
the story begins at dusk on a late summer night in Rutland, Vermont, where two boys are fishing. They witness a shooting star in the sky (that is really the Absorbing Man);
The next issue, #207, began the Rutland, Vermont Halloween cross-over, which was the first unofficial Marvel/DC crossover, but it really had its prologue beginning here in issue #206;
