October 1969, Girls' Love Stories #146, Page #7, Tony Abruzzo pencils/Mike Peppe inks, "Abandoned", An incredible find - a complete 12 pg story drawn by Tony Abruzzo, but it was also inked by Mike Peppe, who was a great golden age inker, primarily inking Alex Toth; In addition, this story is historic in that it handles the issue of attempted suicide by a young model by ingesting sleeping pills; Its very surprising that in 1969 the Comics Code would allow the content of this story to be printed; The issue of drugs were handled by Marvel and DC but not for a few years later in the early 1970s; Im truly priviliged to be the custodian of a culturally relevant and priceless gem like this. (The inking credits were confirmed by David Roach)
