December 1976, Life With Archie #176 Cover, Stan Goldberg pencils/Jon D'agostino inks, "Star Trek" parody, twice-up (huge 14.5" by 22.5"); What a tremendous find for me - In the mid 1970s, the Star Trek craze spilled unto this issue of Archie - the first few stories in this comic parodied the Archie characters as intergalactic travelers like the extremely popular show "Star Trek"; The cover is a cliffhanger scene from the 1st story - the Starship Rivda approaches the Planet Clonis, and Captain Archie beams down to meet the inhabitants. He then tells Betty and Veronica to land on the planet, but it turns out to be a hologram created to lure the Earthlings into a ritual execution. Drawn by the legendary Stan Goldberg, who still draws Archie today after 42+ years and inked by the great, late Archie inker, Jon D'Agostino;
